Very few places in Greenland are as beautiful and imposing as the Eqi glacier!
The glacier emerges in a fjord about 80 km north of Ilulissat. By boat we can sail right up to the edge of the glacier and see large pieces of ice - called ice calvings - break off, resulting in thundering crashes. The sight of the icebergs piercing the water is very impressive.

When getting close to the glacier a delicious lunch is served. The boat will stay in front of the glacier for approximately 1½ hour, while we hope to spot some amazing calvings.

In the afternoon, the boat will arrive at Port Victor. Port Victor is the tiny harbor at Ice Camp Eqi. People opting to stay at Ice Camp Eqi disembark here, the rest stays on the boat and sail back to Ilulissat.
